Join us for MiYLA 2026
MiYLA (Michigan Youth and Children’s Leaders Association) is designed for children’s, youth, and young adult leaders across Michigan and around the world. MiYLA meets live on the first Thursday of each month at 2:30 p.m. via Zoom. Each session is recorded, and the Zoom link is emailed securely to individuals in the state office database. After the meeting, the recording is shared on our social media platforms and uploaded to the NextGen Podcast. Podcast episodes are archived and available on all major podcast platforms.
Erich and Emily Lacks
Erich and Emily Lacks have been joyfully married since June 18, 2005, and are proud parents to two sons, Jeremiah and Raymond.
Their ministry journey began in 2008 as Youth Pastors at The Well Church of God in Pulaski, Tennessee, later serving as student pastors in Athens, Tennessee. In 2017, they stepped into Lead Pastor roles, leading churches in Tennessee and North Dakota.
Emily, who holds a Doctorate in Education, serves as a special education instructor and is a seasoned speaker at women's events nationwide. Erich is pursuing a Doctorate in Strategic Leadership and has ministered globally as a youth camp speaker, focusing on student ministry and leadership development.
In 2022, Erich became the Youth and Discipleship Director for the North Central Region (Montana, North Dakota, and South Dakota). Most recently, at the 2024 Church of God General Assembly, Erich and Emily were appointed and elected as Youth and Discipleship Directors for Michigan.
